Have you ever taken up a cause? Some are involved with politics, some are involved with helping the homeless. Some are involved with helping the school system, while some are involved with local government, or civic organizations. Some are involved with their Church. Whatever your passion is, this is what you are controlled by.

Some people wake up angry every day, mad about everything and spout off about it to everyone they come in contact with. Rarely do they ever do anything to change things because anger is their passion, and if they aren’t angry they seem to think that they have no purpose. The scriptures tell us to be angry but not to sin. There are things that God hates my friends and Proverbs 6: 16-19 lists them. God hates false witnesses and he that sows discord among the brethren. Another thing is feet running to do mischief.

When we get a passion for the things of God, and study his word, our lives will change. The bible is like a road map, taking us from one revelation to another. It will guide us and direct us into all truth. It will light our way when we are in darkness. It will direct our steps and give us insight. It doesn’t come easily. Passion is birthed through determination to press through to the promises of God. A spirit-controlled life is the life of passion and success. When we direct our passion through the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will be fulfilled.

We must make a determination to be all that God wants us to be. We must be passionately in love with the Lord and his holy scriptures, and study them to know our purpose. God leads us one breath at a time. He is never early and he is never late when it comes to direction. Whatever it is that you believe that God is calling you to do, take the time to seek first God’s Kingdom and righteousness and then apply his principles to the passion he has given you! You can never fail being led by God. Be blessed to be a blessing!
